Florian Wirtz has emerged as a key Fantasy Premier League differential for Liverpool managers ahead of Gameweek 7, boosted by an assist in the Champions League midweek win over LASK.
The midfielder (£7.3m) ranks second in the Liverpool squad for shots in the Premier League through six gameweeks, trailing only Alexander Isak (£9.0m). Of Wirtz's 14 shots, 10 have come from inside the box, and he is joint-top across the squad for chances created with 11, level with Dominik Szoboszlai (£6.9m) and Cody Gakpo (£7.1m).
Wirtz also carries set-piece value, having taken four corners and three free kicks in the opening six weeks — additional responsibilities that increase a player's likelihood of contributing to attacking returns in FPL.
In Gameweek 6, Jeremy Jacquet (£5.0m) was Liverpool's highest scorer, registering 12 defensive actions against Manchester City to claim defensive contribution points for the second time this season. Alexis Mac Allister (£5.4m) led the team with four shots and was joint-top for chances created alongside Bradley Barcola (£8.0m) and Ryan Gravenberch (£5.8m).
The Champions League fixture against LASK produced a hat-trick for Barcola, plus goals for Ronald Araujo (£5.4m), Lewis Koumas (£5.0m) and Jeremie Frimpong (£5.3m).
Among the most-transferred-in players ahead of Gameweek 7, Brighton's Maxim De Cuyper (£5.1m) leads with over 437,000 transfers in after a third double-digit return of the season in Gameweek 6. Teammate Pascal Gross (£6.0m) follows with over 397,000 new owners, while Chelsea's Joao Pedro (£7.8m) has attracted more than 385,000 transfers in.
The Gameweek 7 deadline is Saturday, October 17 at 11am BST, 90 minutes before the 12:30pm BST kick-off.
