Leeds United host Tottenham at Elland Road on Saturday, with a 12.30pm kick-off. The home side goes into the match without a league win in five games, and the mood around the club has turned more anxious.

Leeds have won twice in nine league games and sit 12th in the table. Beren Cross, Leeds correspondent at The Athletic, says the season has still been encouraging overall. "Overall, it's been really, really good."

Cross says the main concern is goals. Leeds have scored two in their last five games, although they have kept two clean sheets in that spell. He stresses that the team has been competitive in every match.

Daniel Farke switched to three centre-backs in late November and has since settled into a 3-4-2-1. Cross says the wing-backs and the right-sided centre-back join the attack to overload opponents, but fans may want more tweaks.

Home form is another issue. Leeds have not won a Premier League game kicking off before 3pm since August 2022, a run of 21 games. Cross says the atmosphere at Elland Road is strongest under the floodlights.

Cross expects Dominic Calvert-Lewin to start after missing training on Thursday, and Joe Rodon is likely to be on the bench. He predicts a 1-1 draw.
