Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed that defenders Micky van de Ven and Jan Paul van Hecke are both available for Saturday's Premier League trip to Manchester United (5.30pm UK).
Both centre-backs picked up injuries while on international duty with the Netherlands. Van Hecke left the squad early after sustaining a knock during Holland's second of four matches against Serbia, while captain Van de Ven started all four games but suffered a hand injury in Sunday's final fixture — the return leg against Serbia.
"They are available to play. Micky played four games for Holland, 90 minutes and JP, the difference is this… JP, yesterday, his wife gave birth to twins, an emotional aspect we have to consider also, but both are available to play," De Zerbi said at his pre-match press conference at Hotspur Way on Friday.
De Zerbi also confirmed two absentees. Pedro Porro is out with a hamstring problem sustained in Tottenham's last Premier League match against Aston Villa on 19 September, while Mykhailo Mudryk has been sidelined with an ankle injury since early September.
"Pedro and Mudryk, both are not available. Pedro, I think not for many games and for Mudryk, maybe something more," the manager added.
Xavi Simons, Wilson Odobert and Dejan Kulusevski continue to miss out with longer-term injuries.
