Tottenham travel to Old Trafford on Saturday (5.30pm) for a Premier League clash with Manchester United, with three Red Devils players drawing particular attention ahead of the fixture.
Bruno Fernandes is the standout name. The Portugal international won both the Premier League and PFA Player of the Season awards last term and broke the record for most assists in a single Premier League season, registering 21 in 2025/26. A box-to-box midfielder capable of dominating games, Fernandes scored United's second in a 2-0 win over Spurs at Old Trafford last season after Cristian Romero was shown a red card in the first half.
Kobbie Mainoo has been described as United's best player so far this season by The Times journalist Paul Hirst. The England World Cup squad member won United's Player of the Month for September and has started their last four Premier League games, impressing with his ability to drive forward from deep.
Carlos Baleba is set to make his debut for United having arrived off the Brighton production line — a club that has previously developed the likes of Caicedo, Cucurella, Pedro and Jan Paul van Hecke. The Cameroon midfielder is a physical, ball-winning presence in midfield who can also receive and build play from the base of the engine room.
