Martin Odegaard reached 250 Arsenal appearances in the Champions League clash against Slavia Prague. Arsenal has published a breakdown of his numbers from those matches.

Odegaard arrived from Real Madrid on an initial loan in January 2021 and made the move permanent that summer. Since then, Arsenal has returned to the Champions League, reached the final of the competition, and lifted the Premier League title for the first time since 2004.

Odegaard first captained the side against Southampton in April 2022 and became the permanent skipper that summer. Arsenal has finished in the top two in each of the past four seasons and won the league last year.

He has 107 wins from 164 matches as skipper, the highest win rate of any Arsenal captain since the start of the 1988/89 season at 65.2%. He is six games away from matching Patrick Vieira's 170 games as captain, but remains well short of Tony Adams, who skippered more than 500 matches.

Odegaard has been central to Arsenal's creativity since his arrival. Only Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has created more chances since his debut in January 2021, with Odegaard on 498. His 44 assists rank eighth among Premier League players for goals set up since his debut.

He has also been influential in moving the ball forward. Since his first appearance, Odegaard has made 5287 passes into the final third, 4271 of them successful, and 1400 passes into an opponent's penalty area, the seventh-highest among Premier League players since 2021.

Since his debut, only Gabriel Magalhaes (260) and Bukayo Saka (256) have made more appearances for Arsenal than Odegaard. Only Saka (132) has more goal contributions than his 90 since 2021, and no Arsenal player has created more chances than the skipper.

In the first nine Premier League fixtures of the season, Odegaard ranked second in the squad for high-intensity pressures applied (252), with 143 of those in the opponent's half. He also covered 95.5km and recorded 96 sprints.

Over his first 250 matches, Odegaard has played 250 games, started 207, logged 18358 minutes, scored 46 goals, provided 44 assists and created 498 chances, with a 61.80% win rate.
