Morgan Rogers (£8.0m) is the most popular Chelsea player ahead of Gameweek 9, with over 130,000 transfers in, according to Chelsea's FPL partnership with Fantasy Football Scout. The deadline is 11am GMT on Saturday, ahead of the Blues' clash with Manchester United.

The Englishman's ownership has reached 50%, making him the most-selected midfielder in Fantasy. He has risen in price to £8.0m after starting the season at £7.5m.

In the last six Gameweeks, Rogers ranks second for shots (14), second for expected goals (1.03) and fourth for chances created (5) among Blues players. The summer signing scored against Liverpool in the EFL Cup on Wednesday, converting his first-half penalty.

Pedro Neto (£6.6m) is also proving popular. He returned defensive contribution points against Spurs last time out, building on his 15-point haul against Everton in Gameweek 7. The Portugal international scored twice and earned maximum bonus points in that match. Over 80,000 managers have bought the right-winger.

Cole Palmer (£9.8m) is not suspended for GW9 despite receiving a red card against Spurs. The Englishman has scored four goals in six starts against Manchester United in a Chelsea shirt, including a hat-trick in the 2023/24 season.

In the best value-for-money picks, Josh Acheampong (£4.5m) has started each of the last three Gameweeks and played the full game at Anfield in midweek. The England under-21 international's expected minutes have increased after Maxence Lacroix (£5.9m) picked up a hamstring injury. Acheampong has produced defensive contribution points twice this season in five starts and averages over 7.5 DefCon per/90.

In goal, Mike Penders (£4.4m) is the cheapest starting goalkeeper in the game. He made three saves against both Spurs and Liverpool. Manchester United have scored just three goals in the last five Gameweeks ahead of Saturday's fixture.

For captaincy, Erling Haaland (£15.8m) is again a reliable option for Manchester City's home fixture against Brighton. The Norwegian has scored in seven consecutive Gameweeks, with nine goals, two double-digit hauls, 14 bonus points and 64 Fantasy points in that time. The Seagulls conceded three goals last time out away at Liverpool.

Nicolas Jackson (£6.8m) is an intriguing differential option against Fulham. The West London side have conceded 22 big chances in eight matches. The Aston Villa forward is the most-bought player, with over 900,000 purchases ahead of the deadline. Jackson scored a brace against Manchester City and has scored four goals in the last four Gameweeks, returning 30 Fantasy points.
