Antoine Semenyo is the only player Manchester City will be without for Saturday's Premier League clash with Brighton, manager Enzo Maresca confirmed at his pre-match press conference.

The winger has been sidelined since picking up an injury in the win over Ipswich earlier this month. Maresca made nine changes to his starting line-up for the Carabao Cup fourth-round win over Brighton on Wednesday night, and the rest of the squad is available for the 15:00 (UK) kick-off at the Etihad Stadium.

"They are all available," Maresca said. "[Apart from] Antoine Semenyo, the rest are all available."

On Semenyo's progress, the Italian added: "He's good. He's in a good mood. He's in the building making the recovery sessions and the therapy that he needs but it's too early for now."

City sit top of the Premier League with 21 points from eight games. The fixture is the latest in a busy run that also includes a trip to RB Leipzig in the Champions League and a visit to Nottingham Forest in the league.

Maresca said he is not looking too far ahead. "I'm thinking about tomorrow," he said. "Just game by game."

Brighton manager Fabian Hürzeler, meanwhile, wants revenge for the League Cup defeat. Brighton are third in the Premier League table, and Maresca expects a demanding test. "They always try to be front foot, same style, they attack with many players, they create many chances, score many goals," he said.
