Liverpool's Top 10 Premier League Wins Over Arsenal

Liverpool host Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday, and the club has ranked its best home wins in the fixture so far, from a 1994 hat-trick by Robbie Fowler to a 2014 5-1 rout.

The clubs meet again at Anfield, where Andoni Iraola's team is aiming to extend a run of five victories over the reigning champions. Liverpool have taken three points in 17 of the previous 34 meetings when Arsenal have visited in the league.

At No. 10 is a 3-1 win in August 2019, when Liverpool were European champions under Jürgen Klopp. Joel Matip headed in from a corner, Mohamed Salah scored a penalty and added a late goal, and David Luiz was beaten for the third goal by Fabinho's pass.

The list also includes a 4-0 win in May 1998, when Paul Ince scored twice and Michael Owen added a third, and a 4-1 win in March 2007, when Peter Crouch scored a hat-trick.

At the top is a 5-1 win in February 2014 under Brendan Rodgers. Martin Skrtel scored twice, with Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge also on the scoresheet, and Liverpool led 4-0 before half-time. Steven Gerrard described it as one of the top three performances he had been involved in.
