Manchester City have made 10 changes for their Premier League match against Brighton, with Erling Haaland, Ayyoub Bouaddi and Matheus Nunes all starting. Bouaddi is the only player to keep his place from the midweek Carabao Cup shoot-out win over the Seagulls.

Gianluigi Donnarumma returns in goal for a 4-3-3 formation. Nunes comes back at right-back after missing several games with injury, while Abdukodir Khusanov and Ruben Dias form the central defence and Joško Gvardiol plays at left-back.

In midfield, Bouaddi and Elliot Anderson are set to shield the back four, with Enzo Fernández given a more advanced No. 10 role. Iliman Ndiaye and Jeremy Doku will operate on the flanks, with Haaland through the middle.

City lead the table with 21 points from eight matches, after seven wins and one defeat. They lost 2-1 at Aston Villa in their last league game, and the club’s preview said the Premier League “will always take precedence for the Blues.”

Brighton have the most goals in the Premier League this season, with 23, and are known for high pressing. Haaland has nine league goals this season and has scored in each of his last four Premier League meetings with Brighton.
