Phil Foden returns to Manchester City's starting XI for Saturday's Premier League home match against Ipswich Town, with teenage midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi also handed his first league start.

Foden has been absent since City's Manchester derby win in September, having been an unused substitute in Wednesday's Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain. Bouaddi, 19, earned his call-up after an impressive second-half display in that same PSG fixture.

Manager Enzo Maresca has made six changes in total from the midweek lineup. Matheus Nunes, Nico O'Reilly, Mateo Kovačić and Iliman Ndiaye also come into the side.

City line up as follows: Donnarumma; Nunes, Dias, Guéhi, O'Reilly; Bouaddi, Kovačić; Foden; Ndiaye, Haaland, Doku.

A win would give Maresca a record seven consecutive Premier League wins at the start of his tenure — no manager in the competition's history has achieved that feat. City have won all six of their league games so far this season, sitting top of the table with 21 points.

Ipswich arrive having won three of their seven league games, with all three victories decided by 90th-minute goals. Erling Haaland, who has scored eight Premier League goals this season, has netted four times in two previous league appearances against the Tractor Boys.
