Brentford secured a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest at Gtech Community Stadium, marking their 100th Premier League game. Nikola Milenković turned Dango Ouattara's low cross into his own net on the half-hour, and Igor Thiago doubled the lead on 76 minutes.

Mathias Jensen rattled the crossbar with a free-kick earlier in the match. Forest pressed after the break, but the Bees weathered the spell and held their advantage.

Head coach Keith Andrews made one change from the side that started the previous league game against Hull City. Vitaly Janelt returned from suspension to replace Aaron Hickey in midfield, and Hickey was involved in the build-up to Thiago's goal.

Andrews praised his side's patience and adaptability. "I'm very proud of the performance," said the head coach. "We showed different ways of playing today."

The win ended a busy week for the Bees, who travelled to Hull City and Sunderland before hosting Forest. "We'll never, ever make any excuses, but the scheduling doesn't do us any favours when it comes to cup competitions. A lot of travel," Andrews continued.

Thiago, who has two league goals this season, thanked the supporters. "It's a good feeling," said the striker. "We did well to get three points." It was Brentford's third win of the Premier League season.
