Arsenal face Fleetwood Town in Carabao Cup last 16

Arsenal travel to Highbury Stadium on Tuesday to face League Two side Fleetwood Town in the Carabao Cup fourth round, with kick-off set for 8pm UK time.

It will be the clubs' first-ever meeting in any competition. Fleetwood reached the last 16 for the first time in their history, eliminating Chesterfield, Shrewsbury and Championship side Sheffield United along the way — the latter courtesy of a Rhys Norrington-Davies own goal.

"Our reputation, our pride, everything is in play," Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said. "Every time you play a football match, and especially against a team in a different division, respect the game, respect every opponent because they deserve that, and then try to win."

Fleetwood boss Matt Lawlor struck a defiant tone ahead of the tie. "The champions are coming to town and they're coming to our patch. The players need to be excited by it, not overawed by it. The respect is through the roof, but the fear can't be through the roof."

Arsenal will be without Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Christos Tzolis through injury. Piero Hincapie and Cristhian Mosquera were both named on the bench in the recent Everton win, with Mosquera returning to matchday squads after coming off injured against Aston Villa.

For Fleetwood, midfielder Andy Cannon is available after returning to training, while Kane Thompson-Sommers and Will Johnson miss out through injury.

Fleetwood have yet to concede in this season's competition, keeping clean sheets in all four ties — a feat not matched by a fourth-tier side since Tranmere Rovers in 1988/89. In League Two, however, they have won only three matches and just one of their last eight.

There will be no VAR at Highbury Stadium under EFL rules. If scores are level after 90 minutes, the tie goes straight to penalties. The fifth-round draw will be held on Wednesday evening on Sky Sports.
